One of the first things we learn as children is colour. Can you imagine living in a monochromatic world where apples, sunflowers and the sky are all the same colour?
We often take colour for granted and as adults often leave behind our child like curiosity when it comes to exploring colour. Written by Pat Mora, Colours Crackle Colours Roar is a quirky poem that I illustrated in early 2015. This project was a good exercise in using mixed media and understanding print production and book layouts. Final images were digitally manipulated on Photoshop.
